Mark Morford has completely creeped me out! Meow!

After some good work on the Porno Client™’s account, I headed down to Starbucks in the Castro to meet with a handsome man who’d been staring at me for a couple of months now. I gave him my contact info Saturday night at the Eagle, and we arranged to meet for coffee. I got there and found him waiting for his drink, so I ordered a Green Tea Frappucino, which I found to have a distinct banana-like taste – not like the iced green tea I’d been drinking at all! Back to the iced tea, for certain. It was tasty, but not tea-like enough for my taste.

After we finished our drinks, we headed over here to my place, where we got better acquainted. If I were feeling more creative tonight, I’d write up the lurid details in a tasteful but decidedly erotic way – well, ok, maybe not tasteful, but tasty, certainly – but I’m just not hearing my muse. Perhaps in the morning.

A flag was offered at the Master/slave Conference 2005 in Washington, DC, this year to symbolize unity and pride in the M/s and D/s community. You can check it out here. The flag has a white border, a black field, and four red stripes: one vertical to represent Dominance or power, and three to its right, horizontal, representing submission.

I am always concerned about the use of another symbol to subdivide sexual minorities even further. It’s sorta like how insane the hanky code got in the 70s – there’s a colored hanky for every kink! One would have to wear a decoder ring to know them all… Gay Pride, Bi Pride, Leather Pride, Bear Pride, S/m-D/s Pride – I know there must be others, too…

So, I’m wondering how many people might be interested in having an LJ Convergence on the Los Angeles County Museum of Art to see the King Tut exhibit? If there’s enough interest in SF bears, I’d be willing to figure out how to arrange such a thing: a 15-passenger van, lodging, tickets to the show, perhaps another event.
