So, last Wednesday I decided to rejoin the Board of Directors of the Sacramento Valley Bears as a Member-at-large. The club is facing a crisis as the board can’t meet without a quorum of 75% of members. It’s a bunch of hooey, so I’m aiming to change the by-laws to only require 50% of members, rounding down.
Saturday was the second week of the Trash Film Orgy, with its screening of BATTLE ROYALE, which is a great success! Approximately 400 people showed up to the film, so hooray!
Also, around 90 bears showed up to the SVB pool party on Saturday! This made me happy, too.
Yesterday, Nicholas and I had a late lunch with ![[info]](http://stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif){kind=small}
albadger at Gatsby’s Diner. I had the beet sliders with their housemade chips, a lemon drop, and peanut butter chocolate milkshake! If you’ve never eaten at the Gatsby’s, I can totally recommend it!
Today, Nicky and I have spent our time here at the house resting and doing chores and what-not.
