Coconut sunset
in the concrete canyon,

Inhale
the warm flinty air
rising
from the twilight pavement

how long until darkness
melts the colors and the rocks
in its cosmic black blender?

A wookie, a priest, a rabbi,
Strolling effortlessly
through careless streets
Of limitless egg rolls.

Husk shatters,
as it hits the hard ground.

Split asunder
White glory greets hunger

Sweating its juice
in the hot sun
and the mouths of the grateful.

Hues yet to be defined
Yet all screaming for validation.

Current Mood: (chipper) chipper
