Heat shimmer
seen from my window,
a pampered piebald,
My souls could melt upon this wretched pavement.
Lime Jell-O ® and a bucket of chicken-grease
floating aimlessly upon a sea of green
Anticipating landfall
All because of the metric system.
Time to go back to bed,
And dream of undulating sperm.
