Today’s Gym Adventure

dhpbearPlumpy and I went to the gym for our normal Friday morning work out. As we drove over to the gym, we were speculating on how crowded it would be. I thought that it would either be hella packed or nearly empty. Hella packed won the issue. I figured that all the people who normally go early before work slept in and came in the usually not very crowded late mid-morning. That, and perhaps people feeling guilty about the 3000 calorie meal they consumed the night before!

Well, he and I did our Tai Chi and stretching routine, which takes about 20 minutes, then 5 minutes on the stationary bike, the the weights (leg day), where I upped the weight on all the exercises. I can feel myself getting stronger and stronger. It’s a great feeling. After the weights, 30 minutes on the treadmill, and I’m ready to shower and go home.

Now it’s back to work after a few days of rest. A boy’s gotta eat after all!
