It seems as if I haven’t posted anything in a long time. I’ve been working and stuff. Friday, the loft bed I ordered from Wooden Lofts arrived, and Plumpy and I assembled it. It’s got a 78″ vertical clearance beneath the mattress platform, so I can stand upright beneath it. I do need to build a ladder, though. The ladder ends are just too vertical for me to use on a regular basis. And I might lower the platform by 6 inches, too, to make certain non-sleeping activities a bit more ergonomic.
This time next Saturday I will be in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, visiting my Wyoming boy. We realized that the time for a personal visit had come to pass, so I decided to forego Folsom Street Fair and head there to the beautiful Grand Tetons. It’ll only be a short visit, from Saturday to Wednesday, but that should be long enough to get some nice time in together. A short drive up to Yellowstone is part of the plan, I think. Don’t worry, I’ll take lots of pictures.
