Spent yesterday chatting with the boy in Wyoming, then having breakfast with a buddy, then lunch with
Richard (raperez). He and I decided that it would be best if I resigned from the Board of Directors of Foggy City Dancers, as I just seem to have lost the time and energy to devote to it. A very nice lunch spent chatting with him, and I feel better about staying the editor of The Foghorn, the club’s newsletter.
After lunch, I met the guest of
Paulie (redbackfur), one Al from Brighton! What a sweet man, and we spent the afternoon wandering around the Castro, talking and getting to know each other.
Finally, it was time to go dancing at Foggy City, so I hopped on BART to 24th Street and walked to Studio 204, where we waited for the caller to show up. Sadly, due to a mis-communication of some sort, neither the main or backup caller for this workshop showed up, so after we all hung out chatting and taking some photos, everyone left, and Steve H. gave
Mark (markosf) and I a ride home.
The boy in Wyoming called me up to talk on the phone, and not long after that, I went to bed. There will soon be more to write about him.
