Hot Fuzz with the MovieBears was fantastic.
The evening started off with me forgetting to look at the website to see where to meet for tickets, but I saw 
Dave (dhbearguy) in the food court of the San Francisco Centre, and he gave me the low-down, so I relaxed and got some dinner at Coriander Gourmet Thai, which is my current favorite at the food court, before heading up, up, up all those darned escalators to the Century Theater, where Mr. Hayes was selling the discount tickets in the theater’s lovely open lobby.
(yes, despite the fact that Westfield reneged on their agreement to preserve more of the original emporium building, it’s still a very nice public space)
While I was sitting there, chatting with Richard (BoyShapedBox) and Phillip (BearShapedBoyfriend), my Kabuki buddy, 
Bill showed up and got a ticket, too. What a delight he is – sweet man, handsome face, sexy body. He and I ended up sitting together to watch the movie.
And what a movie it is. Simon Pegg has really done it again with his take on the police action comedy. I found myself laughing out loud throughout the film – it’s smart, fast-paced, comedy that morphs into a real blood and guts action-packed, car chase gun battle with a gruesomely funny twist ending. If you haven’t already seen it – go see it. It is totally worth it.
From there, Bill and I walked down to the concourse level together, and onto the Muni platform, where we parted ways. I really should try to see more of him. But regardless, it was a great evening and helped me climb out of that post-school funk into which I’d sunk .
