Sacramento Solons

by Paul Brown on 27 October 2006

When I was in elementary school, a boy who lived nearby invited me to accompany his father and him to a Sacramento Solons baseball game. I remember being friends with him off and on, but when we entered high school, we largely parted company. So imagine my surprise when I arrived home from the Advanced Square Dance class last night to find an email from him, asking if I was the Paul Brown with whom he went to school.

In his email he mentions that he lives in San Francisco, so I googled his name and San Francisco, and up popped his name as the pastor of a United Methodist Church in the area. This makes a certain amount of sense, as his dad was a minister in Sacramento.
