Last night, I finished my 19:00 client right at 20:30, and went online to relax a bit for about an hourish. So when
John suggested we grab a bite to eat, it was late and our choices were limited, and he wanted a crunchwrap supreme, so we went to TacoBell/KFC on Geary at Steiner, but they appeared to be closed, so me made a mad dash down to the next one at Geary and 5th. Open!
I was craving protein, and wanted a couple of chicken breasts, but since they were so close to closing, they didn’t have any and weren’t likely to be making anymore that night, so I got a bucket of legs and thighs. Having not had their legs and thighs in a long time, I didn’t realize just how tiny they are - they must be pygmy chickens! I ate 1 thigh and 9 legs and was still hungry, but decided that that was enough, and didn’t go back in and order something else.
Well, you can imagine the result. 02:15, 03:15, 04:15 like clockwork, my intestines decided they needed some assistance. Still, it was a pretty restful night’s sleep, even interrupted.
Today I have two clients, one on Saturday, then I’m free until Monday. Things are still tight but the aren’t as tight as they were. I’m booking more clients, and getting more repeats. 2006 is going to be a great year!
In other news, I’ve had a newfound burst of creative energy, and have been running all sorts of interesting business and other ideas through my head, keeping up on most of my household chores, just feeling more alive. I’m feeling really balanced, in the moment, and I can see a brighter future. I have a new massage guinea pig that I’m trying stuff out on - new ideas of strokes, trying a new flow out on him. I think over the next two months, I’m gonna have an all new even more gentle yet more deep massage routine.
