A Simple Dinner

by Paul Brown on 22 November 2004

I made dinner tonight again. I cooked a cup of white rice, and placed a 1/3 stick of butter in it when it was done. I took about a 1/2 stick of butter and sauteed a package of those chicken and apple w/chardonnay sausages from Trader Joe’s, along with a pound of frozen cut green beans. When the beans were just al dente, I added about 4 oz. of cream to the pan, along with kosher salt and a generous quantity of freshly cracked black pepper. I served the sausages and beans over the rice in a bowl with chopsticks. We had a simple salad of romaine hearts, and cameo apples for dessert. Deelish! and I totally mao’d out!
