I’m back from Denver with my menfolk and am tired. I’ll start posting some stuff tomorrow when I wake up. Hooray for being home, and yet boo for being home.

Thanksgiving in Longmont
29-Nov-04
Just a short entry to let everyone know that I am having a great time here in Longmont so far. I’ll be going to take a tour of the massage school I am interested in attending in about an hour.
I’m flying back tomorrow, and will write more then.
Well, I’m all packed up and ready to hit the rack. This time tomorrow I’m hopeful to be hip-deep in my menfolk’s lovin’.

A Simple Dinner
22-Nov-04
I made dinner tonight again. I cooked a cup of white rice, and placed a 1/3 stick of butter in it when it was done. I took about a 1/2 stick of butter and sauteed a package of those chicken and apple w/chardonnay sausages from Trader Joe’s, along with a pound of frozen cut green beans. When the beans were just al dente, I added about 4 oz. of cream to the pan, along with kosher salt and a generous quantity of freshly cracked black pepper. I served the sausages and beans over the rice in a bowl with chopsticks. We had a simple salad of romaine hearts, and cameo apples for dessert. Deelish!

The Coastside Freecycle Yahoo! Group Moderator had a link to his site in his .sig file, so I followed it to his site, where I found the Foreign Groceries Museum, a collection of images of grocery products, mostly from Japan, but other places, too. Fascinating stuff.
Well, it’s time to make dinner.
