I arrived in Sacramento, and after a bit of telephone back-n-forth, ended up at Darin and Christy’s place, for a evening of fun and TFO website work. http://www.trashfilmorgy.com/ – soon as I get settled in here at home again, I’ll finished up the piece that was bugging me and get it posted to the home page.
Crashed over at Zach and Amy’s, where we talked and stayed up til 02:00. Next morning, I headed over to Bradner’s and fixed his computer. From there it was to my massage client for some Recreational Mathematics. The long drive back to San Francisco followed, feeding cats, and an early night into bed. Sofa beds are not always the most conducive situations to find one’s rest.
Walking to church this morning, I felt good. The long night of sleep felt good, and beautiful blue sky and fresh air couldn’t hurt. Today is the commemoration of St. Mary of Egypt, as well as the Holy Martyrs Agapius and his companions. The bishop made some delicious cracked wheat with chickpeas and mushrooms, a cucumber and tomato salad, and poached pears. Yum.
From there, I headed back over to feed the kitties and what-not, and found a new parking spot for the van.
I’m thinking a nap is in order soon.
