a brief update

this past weekend, i took my friend, , to his first bear party. he hung out near me for a good chunk of the party like the shy cub he is, but soon was off and exploring on his own. it did my heart good to see him meet some new people.

i’m getting the house cleaned up from this summer’s madness. all the travel and other busy activities left little time for vaccuuming and dusting and picking up and stuff, but mostly that is rectified. i still need to vaccuum, but that’ll be done today. i had a marathon laundry day on thursday and friday. today, i’m also cleaning off all the accumulated mail that piled up. thank goodness for that shredder. no more identity theft from this house.

i’ve also been cooking at home a lot more as a method of controlling expenses and getting my creative culinary juices flowing again.
