1. I find it interesting that someone who is studying to be a massage therapist is so into more…aggressive sexual practices. (That’s what I perceive from reading your journal…) Does that seem strange to you?
My sexual tastes have nothing at all to do with my calling as a therapeutic bodyworker. One of the things massage therapists confront on an almost daily basis is the assumption that we are sex workers, and I never really understood the subtle discrimination that we face until I hung up my shingle. So many of the calls I get ask me what I wear when I massage, how tall am I, how hung am I, will they be able to touch me, and other stuff like that. As my clients are mostly gay men, I’m not too surprised by this, but still, it’s a battle I didn’t think I’d have to fight.
2. Have experienced other people’s “red fetishism” first hand? Anybody gotten crazy about it?
Man, I should write up the story about the guy who has a thing for red-heads because he loves the way they smell. He wanted to spend hours sniffing my armpits and crotch and, oddly, feet. Since he was a good cock-sucker, I let him; so yes, I’ve experienced the red fetishism.
3. I know so little about you – what SHOULD I know?
You should know that you will all bow down and worship me! Wha-wha-what? No, that’s not right. You should know that if I was down in SoCal, I’d probably be trying to be your friend and stuff like that.
4. Can a person ever really change?
I’m a terrific optimist on this score, mostly because I’ve seen the changes in myself and others that have been profound, soul-shifting changes.
5. What movie totally met and surpassed your expectations?
OK, don’t laugh, but I just saw AIP’s “Unholy Rollers” this week, and I really liked it. I very often have pretty low expectations of much of the trash cinema I deal with as a part of the Trash Film Orgy, so my surprise was pretty genuine, and my viewing pleasure index was high.
