up to the minute

by Paul Brown on 31 May 2003

yesterday i picked up my magnetic signs for my car, and while i was loading them into the trunk of the big chrylser, i got a phone call from my pelvic affiliate, “mike.” he was horny and wanted to come over, so i told him i’d be home in about 15 minutes.

after our play session, i had to hit the road to get to the City for “Wicked,” the new musical which world premiered on June 28 at the Curran Theater. You can read my review of it here. it’s pretty fabulous.

i made it into the City and met with and his other guests. he had purchased 8 tickets to the show and took me, two co-workers and their wives, and one of the couple’s children. i met him and the andersons at this dreadful little sushi basement with a big sign out in front that reads “SUSHI BOAT” – but i don’t think that’s the actual name of the place. the service was yucky, the fish had been obviously frozen, but the miso soup was good. perhaps i’ll skewer them in a review on my site, Tawdry Talk!, or not.

the show was wonderful, and i offered albadger a ride home. on the way home, called albadger and started making some weird noises. i had told him earlier that if i came over after the show depended on how i felt. i felt like i wanted to drive home, but after getting halfway to albadger’s house, i decided to take him up on his offer to sleep there.

waking at 0615, i rose, made my ablutions, said my good-byes, and hit the highway bound for home. i have a couple of massages scheduled for today, and i need to launder my sheets for them. speaking of which, i should go and check the dryer…

there’s nothing like these egyptian cotton jersey knit sheets, so soft and sensuous.

anyway, i got home and started the laundry, and noticed that my roommate, david, is out. he must be at that meeting he goes to on saturday mornings.

that is all.
