ah, the irony of it all

Friday evening, I had a great dinner with my friend, David, his partner, Rick, and their friend, Bob. David made some artichokes and eggplant parmesan, both of which were tremendously appreciated – they are both among my favorites foods.

I got some private snuggle time in with David. Yummy

Yesterday, Saturday that is, I started to feel a scratching in my throat and some upper respiratory congestion. I cancelled my practice massage with Bob, and didn’t go to the IBR at all.

Today, I awoke with a raging fire burning in my throat and upper lungs, incredible body soreness, and a headache to beat the band. I slunk out of UGH and pointed the Big Chrysler back to home, where, after a quick stop at Walgreen’s, I am relieving the symptoms of my illness, if not the illness myself. I warned [info]bigjohnsf to wipe down the new leather sofas in the room where I crashed out last night, to help reduce the possibility of infecting the household.

Poor me, I tend to suffer
