Rick and I got our trees planted in time for the barbeque we had Saturday afternoon. The Asian Pear and Elberta Peach trees look very nice, situated as they are near the birdbath and shade garden. In future years, we hope to get lots of yummy fruit to eat and share.
The BBQ went really well. It’s nice to be able to mix my gay and straight friends together, and I think for future soirees I’ll continue this practice. When I see all my friends gathered together, eating and having a good time, it warms my heart.
My friend Ned’s H.A.G. cd, Songs from the Pus Cavern went on sale at CD Baby today. Y’all should check it out! It’s from a band he had a few years ago, but the music is still really good.
I went and saw Spiderman Sunday night for the second time. I liked it better this time: I wasn’t caught up in the hype like I was the first time and was able to enjoy it much more this time.
After this weekend of craziness, I finally got to relax yesterday, with an extended nap in the afternoon. Yum. Naps should be required activity; too bad it can’t be legislated or something
